Escuela Caribe
The Finer English Free School Foundation e.V. rented a building with three classrooms where 24 young people will learn to read and write.
The colonial-style building looks out on the Caribbean Sea, just a few metres from the port area of Rio Caribe.
Regulations require that the name of the school has local historical significance. Hence the name Escuela Caribe - a reference to one of the indigenous tribes who lived in the area in the time of Columbus.
The interior garden is covered with metal bars to keep burglars out.
