Building a Relationship

This one-day workshop offers intensive practice leading swiftly to greater confidence when speaking, increased fluency and improved pronunciation.

Relationships are about communication. Communication through language. Competence in a foreign language is a balance between accuracy and fluency. In this workshop the emphasis is on fluency and confidence in speaking.

To build confidence in speaking, this Finer English Workshop provides a full day of speaking activities in English. Participants improve their fluency, pronunciation and intonation while developing the confidence to speak up and make their voice heard.

The Building A Relationship workshop is ideal for students from beginners to intermediate level.

Workshop contents:

• improving fluency, confidence in speaking, pronunciation and listening comprehension - through discussion of general and work-related topics and role-play
• improving grammatical accuracy - through oral and written practice of sentence construction and grammar
• conversational skills and small talk – role-plays, debates and discussion activities to maximise fluency and confidence in speaking

Upon successful completion of this workshop, students receive a Finer English Certificate in Building A Relationship.
